One of the primary ways we build relationships and cultivate fellowship with each other here is through a network of small groups.what we call .Home Bible Study. or .HBS.. HBS serves as a hub for fellowship and connectedness at GCC. While we fellowship with all believers in the local assembly, HBS allows us to relate more deeply with a smaller number of people. HBS is a sermon-based small group study. "Sermon-based" means that they meet together to go over discussion questions based on Sunday morning.s message. These questions focus upon understanding and applying the passage that was taught. In addition to this discussion, those in HBS, have opportunity to practice the one-another.s of Scripture, spend time in prayer for one another, enjoy a time of casual fellowship and share a meal. HBS meets weekly from September through May in homes all over the city. HBS provides a great opportunity to meet others in with the church body and develop strong spiritual friendships.
