PASTORAL STAFF
Dr. T. Scott Christmas serves as the pastor-teacher of Grace Community Church. By the grace of God, Scott was saved in 1988 following a severe car accident. He has been involved in pastoral ministry since 1990. A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Scott has earned degrees from the Criswell College (B.A.), The Master's Seminary (M.Div.), and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (D.Min.). In 1996, Scott planted Grace Community Church. He and his wife, Heather, have four sons.
Brian Harvey serves as an Associate Pastor at Grace overseeing the administration of the church and The Expositor’s Seminary, Jacksonville Campus. He graduated from the Master’s College (B.A. in Youth Ministries/Biblical Counseling), and the Master’s Seminary (M. Div.). He has ministered in California and Colorado. He is married to Theresa and they have three children: Mason, Matthew, and Brooke
Aaron Friedrick serves as an Associate Pastor at Grace overseeing the student and children's ministries. A graduate of the Naval Academy in 1998, he served as an aviator in the Navy until joining the staff at Grace in July, 2006. He is married to Corissa and they have been blessed with three sons: Andrew, Micah and Caleb. Saved at a young age, his mission now is to team with parents to equip their kids and youth to live biblically and passionately for Christ. He is currently planning on attending the Expositor's Seminary here at Grace Community Church beginning Fall 2007.
Chris Sutton is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana and serves as an elder at Grace. He is a 1982 Engineering graduate of Purdue University. His current employer lead him and his family to Jacksonville, Fl. in 2004, becoming members of Grace shortly thereafter. He was saved in 1983 after a series of humbling events which God sovereignly orchestrated. Chris and his wife Colleen have three children: Craig, Allyson and Leah. He oversees the AWANA program for kids, participates in the worship team, and shepherds a small group.
Ebenezer Solomon serves as an elder in Grace Community Church, oversees the visitor ministry and shepherds a home bible study group. Born in South India, Ebenezer came to the US in 1995 to pursue a MasterÕs Degree in Engineering from Texas A&M University. After graduation, the Lord granted a job to Ebenezer in Overland Park, Kansas to work for an Engineering Consulting Firm. While in Kansas, after much prayer and waiting on the Lord, he was directed of the Lord to marry Mary Beulah, also from South India in November 1999. The Lord brought them from Kansas to Jacksonville, FL in a job related move during January 2002. They began attending Grace in February 2002. After working for the same consulting firm for a year, the Lord opened a door for Ebenezer to work for the City of Jacksonville. They have been blessed with two children, Joel Steven and Abigail Eden. Ebenezer's passion lies in equipping the body of believers in the word of God to grow into His likeness and for each child of God to experience the blessing of being filled, led, sustained and guided by the word of God.
