| PRAISE AND WORSHIP |
Here at Grace Community Church our goal in worship is to exalt and magnify the greatness of our God in Christ Jesus. In our corporate worship services we do this by the reading of scriptures, prayer, sacrificial giving, Christ-centered music and the exposition of God's Word.
Our music is a blend of hymns, psalms and spiritual songs sung in both traditional and contemporary styles. The purpose of our style and selection of songs is to help the believer draw near to the throne of grace with confidence (Heb 10:19-22) by reminding us of the truths about God and His character from His Word, whereby we respond in humbleness and gratefulness for all He's done in our lives. This then prepares our hearts to receive instruction from His word and compels us to live it out in our lives in such a way that glorifies God and ultimately prepares us for worship with Him in heaven (Rev 5:5-12). |
